Tactical Electronics to receive OK Dept. of Labor Entrepreneurial Excellence Award

Tactical Electronics recipient of Oklahoma Department of Labor Entrepreneurial Excellence Award
BROKEN ARROW, July 12, 2012 — Tactical Electronics has been chosen as the recipient of the Entrepreneurial Excellence in Oklahoma Award for 2012. A presentation ceremony will take place on Friday, July 20th at Tactical Electronics headquarters in Broken Arrow. The award is intended to honor those Oklahoma based entrepreneurs who have created profitable employment for their fellow Oklahomans and who have fostered a positive business atmosphere.
“We are very grateful to Commissioner Mark Costello’s office for this gracious recognition. I, and in fact every employee of our growing company are proud to be acknowledged for our efforts and prouder still to play a role in our State’s economic development. We all work very hard to make Oklahoma a “go to” resource for life saving technology and we are truly honored to receive the award,” Ben Kimbro, Executive Vice President of Tactical Electronics, said.
Tactical Electronics provides wireless cameras, EOD tools, and training to law enforcement and military agencies. Founded in 1999 their goal is to deliver safety to those who protect us. Tactical Electronics has grown by maintaining strong relationships with the Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal communities, while continuing to foster relationships with first responders at the federal, state, and local levels. Tactical Electronics also has offices in Virginia Beach, VA and customers in over 37 countries.
